Since apples app store launched in July of 2008 Apple has tried to maintain a PG 13 standard.

Thats why you wont find any adult games for the iPhone. Tho you can access adult content optimized for the iPhone, you can fin an article about that here

That said, I would have thought that Apple wouldn’t approve of an app that could possibly get one arrested. But with a new app “A Blackjack card counter” that is not the case

You’ve seen the movies where a high-roller playing in a casino gets pulled into a dark room in the back of the casino, where the floor manager of the casino beats the crap out of that guy warning him never to return to the casino.

Card counting is a complicated method of determining when and how much to bet in the game blackjack. This is actually not illegal it is a sure way to get kicked out of a casino or even the pleasure of entering the dark back room discussed earlier. But however what is most definitely illegal, is the use of an electronic device to aid in your card counting.

The card-counting app can be used on either the iPod Touch or the iPhone … once this app is installed on either of the devices it makes card counting easy. This app has has an option called stealth mode that makes the screen appear as if it is off. The user can still use this app as long as he/she knows where each button is located on the screen.

As some casinos have pointed out, the use of such programs or even having it in your possession within a licensed casino is illegal.

The creator of this app has warned its users that “This card counter is great for learning to count cards or for playing blackjack with your friends. While counting cards is deemed legal, electronic card counting devices are illegal in many casinos. Therefore I would not recommend using this app in a casino as you could get into a lot of trouble.”

Well with that said I strongly urge you not to buy this app if you ever intend on taking your iPod/iPhone to the casino with you.
