Recently Google released a developers preview of Chrome that fixed more then 150 bugs within the original version of Chrome.

Chrome 2.0.169.0 is more geared towards the people that want the latest and greatest version of Chrome and don’t mind running into a few bugs or even possibly encountering a crash here and there. But to be honest these releases are also meant to just be a preview of the features soon to be available to the more reliable “stable” versions that are made available to the masses.

Previous versions of the Chrome developer releases have had a reputation of unresponsiveness but really, who can complain when using a developer release? Hopefully this is an effort to stabilize Chrome and hopefully a release of a “stable” beta version.

I personally love Google chrome with its minimalistic design and all. But probably one of the biggest drawbacks is the fact that its only avalable for windows. The past few months I have been using Ubuntu as my primary operating system, so hopefully someone will make chrome avalable for linux in the near future.
